We wanted a compact double stroller- hilarious, right? I mean, the concept of 'double stroller' really doesn't instantly imply compactness! But, we'd seen the Phil & Ted's strollers all over the city, and instantly saw that their way of stacking the kids seemed the most compact and convenient. It's not a side-by-side monster that won't fit through doorways, and it's not super-long. It's even supposed to hold two kids up to 85 lbs total. (And, since Eve's been shrinking these days, I think we'll be ok for awhile!) And, we also wanted a jogging stroller- most double joggers were side-by-side, which made the search pretty difficult.
We went to the only store in the city that has these strollers to test one out. We'd only seen them online, and really, that seems to be where most people buy them. Since they're kinda expensive, one store told us that people would come in to try it out, but would leave and go buy it online to save money. But, we finally found one, and it's great! Eve even seemed pretty amused with her test-drive in the store, too.
They had two colors in the store- black or red. I gave Ezra the option, already knowing that he'd pick red. He can't resist anything red!
Here it is, in the box, waiting for Ezra to get back from work to put it together!

Anything with an instruction book this thick needs Ezra's attention!

The finished product (hopefully), only ours will be red...and, with much cuter kids in it!

Congrats! It's an awesome, AWESOME stroller! I should have another kid JUST for the purpose of getting that stroller! Just kidding, of course. lol
Love the color choice! Normal double strollers remind me of tanks. Thankfully you will be able to get around a lot quicker. Does the older child go in the front or the back?
there are a bunch of ways to set it up, based on the kid's ages. until they can sit and hold themselves up, they're supposed to be in the front seat- hope eve likes staring at the back of that!
Was Ezra successful? Lets see the finished product with a cuter kid of course!
