My parents wanted to buy us a grill for a house-warming gift, which was something we really wanted. But, since we live in a condo, we had to run the idea passed the other owners. We only asked one (of the two), and he shot us down immediately. He feared that there'd be accidents, or melted siding- which is weird, considering our building is brick, and has no siding. Anyway.
We thought about it for a while (all summer, actually), and just this morning found something that should be perfect for our situation: the little skinny gas grill! We have a storage closet outside, where Ezra stores things like his tools, paint, a ladder, that kind of stuff, and the grill (when cooled) should slide in with no problem- out of sight and out of mind for the other owners!
It was sort of an impulse purchase- we wanted to get one, of course, and had planned on it, but it wasn't why we went to Home Depot this morning.
I'm soooo happy we got it, though! I love grilling (well, having Ezra grill!), and tonight we grilled burgers for dinner. Yum!
