There are only a few things I miss about New Orleans: the weather, the French Quarter boutiques, beignets, DRIVE-THRU DAIQUIRI PLACES, Steve & Hilary (!),...hmm, ok, there's a lot more than I thought, but, of the "few" things I miss, Mardi Gras parades are high on the list...and, today's Mardi Gras Day! And, what am I doing?? Sitting in the public library (because our internet is down again!) typing this blog, imagining the insane fun down South. Hmm...maybe next year! Chrissy's up for planning a trip- anyone wanna go?? We've got a whole year to plan! (and save!)
