Mood's Farm and the "Peach Party"

Ezra went in to work this morning (even thought it's a Saturday!), so I was left trying to figure out something fun to do w/the kids, rather than our usual hang-out-here-and-drive-each-other-crazy-until-naptime routine.  So, we went to Mood's Farm this afternoon after seeing their sign the other day advertising a "craft fair and peach party."

Turns out, a "peach party" is really just a big crazy load of peaches for sale.  Par-ty! ;)  We bought tons, and yum, so good!

Anyway, we milled around the craft fair- kinda neat, actually.  It had the typical stuff like jewelry and knitted baby hats, but also had weirder booths, like one that sold craved wooden ducks.  Not my styling-speed, but still interesting.  (We went in to the fair mainly to get some relief from the heat!)

They bopped around the wooden playhouses, and the wooden petting zoo- that's right.  It's a little weird, bc it's just wood cut-outs of animals, and the kids kept trying to ride them.  Anyway...

We had a fun time, bought lots of peaches and apple cider doughtnuts, and headed home- but would have been nicer if Ezra had gone, too!
