We usually go to see Ezra's family in Lancaster, which is a lot of fun- except this year, Eve was the biggest pill ever. She didn't have a nap all day (and didn't sleep on the way there, either), so she wasn't the most fun, and was pretty clingy and whiny. Yuck. But, Judah seemed to be a big hit- he's so fun and friendly! This is a great age!
The only picture we got that night (and poor Judah missed it because he was napping):
Later that night, we drove to Delaware to spend the weekend with my family- it's kinda a long drive!
Their house is REALLY decorated for Christmas already, complete with the new addition of a train set. My dad set it up for the kids and, true to form, Eve was petrified while Judah loved it:
We did lots of Black Friday shopping, too, which really went better than expected. We bought LOTS of gifts, and the kids managed to hang in there, despite our shopping trip taking...about four hours!
On Saturday, Ezra, Eve, my parents and I went to a garden center to buy a wreath. We rarely decorate, and I kinda wanted to do a bit more this year. So, after some deliberation, we decided to make a wreath of our own, rather than just buying a pre-made one. I thought this might be a tough project, but...just look:
Ezra following my creative orders!
Love it!

It was a great, restful holiday for us, and I hope that you all had a wonderful time with family and friends, as well!
